ABOUT

Tanya Katoch is the founder of Future Rhythms, an international music platform based in the West Midlands, born in 2013 from a simple, radical belief: there is enough for us all to thrive. Rooted in the belief that everyone should not only have a seat at the table—but that there is more than enough to go around for us all to eat, and to eat well.

Tanya channels past experiences into dismantling barriers for underrepresented artists worldwide. She redirects power and steers resources from established organisations like the BBC, Arts Council England, and Soho House toward grassroots talent. These collaborations are intentional, not incidental. While systemic inequity persists, Tanya works within—and pushes against—established systems to reroute their resources toward creating opportunities for overlooked + grassroots artists and communities.

Funded by Arts Council England (2021–2022), Future Rhythms amplifies fresh, eclectic sounds + their artists, which commercial platforms overlook, curating spaces where innovation can be heard.

Future Rhythms continues to widen its transcultural channels, seeking partnerships with artists, communities, and organisations worldwide, aiming to irrigate cultural landscapes, to ensure that grassroots talent flourishes in mutual abundance.
