ABOUT

Tanya Katoch (she/her) is the founder of Future Rhythms, a music platform born in 2013 from a simple, radical belief: there is enough for all of us to thrive. Rooted in the belief that everyone should not only have a seat at the table—but there is more than enough to go around for us all to eat, and to eat well.

Tanya channels past experiences of exclusion into dismantling barriers for underrepresented artists worldwide. She redirects power and steers resources from established organisations like the BBC, Arts Council England, and Soho House toward grassroots talent. These collaborations are intentional, not incidental. While systemic inequity persists, Tanya works within—and pushes against—established systems to reroute their resources toward creating opportunities for overlooked and grassroots artists and communities. Funded by Arts Council England (2021–2022), Future Rhythms amplifies eclectic sounds, and their artists, which commercial platforms overlook, curating spaces where innovation can be heard.

Future Rhythms is now widening its channels, seeking partnerships with artists, communities, and organisations worldwide, to irrigate cultural landscapes where grassroots talent flourishes in mutual abundance.
